Hi there, my name is Gracie!

I'm an illustrator, ceramicist and curator based in South Wales. I have spent most of my life working in Museums, fitting my creative pursuits into my day whenever I can.

I enjoy working digitally and with traditional media to create illustrations inspired by literature and nature. My aim is to create cosy, welcoming illustrations full of colour and whimsy.

Ceramics allows me to bringing my original characters and illustrations to life in a 3D way. I primarily hand-build pieces using intuitive making to let the clay guide the final design.

I teach beginner hand building pottery workshops at Cabalva Ceramics, getting to share this wonderful practice with others.

​

Alongside my illustration and ceramics I work as an Assistant Museum Curator. In this role I have the opportunity to curate and design exhibitions, publicity materials and public events.
